PROVINCIAL LEGAL OFFICE
SHORT DESCRIPTION OF OFFICE:
An office focusing on the four thematic areas of DRRM; such as Disaster Prevention and Mitigation, Disaster Preparedness, Disaster Response and Disaster Rehabilitation in achieving the objective of reducing risk as well as addressing the pre-existing risks in the province to promote a safer, adaptive and disaster resilient Filipino communities.
Brief Description
The Provincial Legal Office is primarily tasked to provide legal support to the Provincial Government and all the offices thereof. It also caters legal services to the general public through preparation and notarization of legal documents and extends assistance to all local legislative bodies pertaining to legislative matters
1. SECURING OF LEGAL DOCUMENTS (AFFIDAVITS, SPA, DEED OF SALE, ETC.)
How to Avail:

- Eligibility: General Public including Government Employees
- Requirements:
- Fill-out the Legal Assistance Form
- Official Receipt (OR) evidencing payment of P150.00 for the preparation of legal document or P300.00 if notarization is involved

- Process:
- Step 1: Inquire inside the office and fill-out the Legal Assistance Form.
- Step 2: See personally the Provincial Legal Officer (PLO) or the Legal
- Assistant (LA) II for an interview and details of your request.
- Step 3: Proceed to the Provincial Treasurer’s Office for payment of the required fee.
- Step 4: Present the Official Receipt (OR) to the PLO/the LA II and wait while the legal document is being prepared.
- Step 5: Receive the legal document to be given by the PLO/the LA II after affixing the signatures therein and in the Notarial Book if notarization is done.

1.PREPAREDNESS PROGRAM - CONDUCT TRAININGS ON BASIC LIFE SUPPORT, STANDARD FIRST AID AND WATER SEARCH AND RESCUE
These trainings are a vital life skill that provides the responders with the basic knowledge, attitude and skills in dealing with medical emergencies.
2. IMPLEMENTATION OF COVID-19 PROTOCOLS
Continuous monitoring and verification process of documents are still present upon entry/exit in each port of entry in the province.

3. PROCUREMENT OF AMBULANCE AND RESCUE EQUIPMENT
FREE LEGAL AID SERVICES
The Provincial Legal Office, in cooperation with the Office of the Provincial Governor, provides the public with free legal consultation and free notarization of legal documents during Government on Wheels and “Padayon Pagserbisyo Alang Sa Katawhan” (PPASK).
