PROVINCIAL GENERAL SERVICES OFFICE
SHORT DESCRIPTION OF OFFICE:
An office focusing on the four thematic areas of DRRM; such as Disaster Prevention and Mitigation, Disaster Preparedness, Disaster Response and Disaster Rehabilitation in achieving the objective of reducing risk as well as addressing the pre-existing risks in the province to promote a safer, adaptive and disaster resilient Filipino communities.
PROVINCIAL GENERAL SERVICES OFFICE (PGSO) – DESCRIPTION
The Office provides expertise in technical assistance and support to the Provincial Governor in the implementation of measures to ensure the delivery of basic services and provision of adequate facilities.

ADMINISTRATIVE AND SUPPORT SERVICE
- Directs and supervise administrative activities and services functions of the office, relative to human resource development and management;
- Prepares budget proposals;
- Establishes supply procurement program and property management and utilization ;
- Provides security and take charge of the maintenance and repair of office equipment and facilities of the office;
- Supervise janitorial services, orderliness and sanitation within the area of responsibility;
PROPERTY INVENTORY AND INSPECTION DIVISION
- Conduct periodic physical inventory of government vehicles and office equipment;
- Validate and record all incoming Property Acknowledgement Report;
- Encode all detailed information of each PAR for every accountable officers and employees;
- Prepare and submit Annual Inventory Report to COA;
- Tagging of Property Sticker to every property or equipment, recording and deployment of equipment and property;
- Renewal of LTO Registration and Insurance of Vehicles;
- Encode/Filed all detailed information of each Property Return Slip (PRS)
- Inspection of actual existence of delivery of supplies and materials to ensure compliance and conformity with the specifications in the Purchase Order;
- Inspection of unserviceable supplies and material, equipment and vehicles returned by departments or offices.
- Conduct Pre-Repair and Post-Repair Inspection for repair of equipment and vehicle.
WAREHOUSE & SUPPLY MANAGEMENT DIVISION
- Serves as the processing of all supply, materials and equipment needed by all departments and offices of the Provincial Government of Camiguin.
- Validate Waste Materials Report
- Receive, check, review, record and issue reports of supplies and materials
- Conduct acceptance inspection report for GSO transactions

1.PREPAREDNESS PROGRAM - CONDUCT TRAININGS ON BASIC LIFE SUPPORT, STANDARD FIRST AID AND WATER SEARCH AND RESCUE
These trainings are a vital life skill that provides the responders with the basic knowledge, attitude and skills in dealing with medical emergencies.

The Province of Camiguin is known to be a tourist destination and as private organizations as well as government entities continue to conduct their programs and activities in this island province, there is an undoubted need for the construction and maintenance of operations of the Camiguin Convention Center to support the socio-cultural programs of the province.
2. IMPLEMENTATION OF COVID-19 PROTOCOLS
Continuous monitoring and verification process of documents are still present upon entry/exit in each port of entry in the province.

MAINTENANCE & OPERATION OF WALKWAY TO THE OLD VOLCANO, GUIOB-OLD RUINS CHURCH, B.S. AQUINO PARK AND KATIBAWASAN FALLS
Camiguin is identified as a tourist haven in Region 10. The Provincial Government of Camiguin developed 4 major tourist spots namely: The Walkway to the Old Volcano, Guiob Old Church Ruins, B.S. Aquino Park, and the Katibawasan Falls, among others and promoted these areas that need maintenance to sustain its operations. The allocated funds for the continuous maintenance of these tourist spots come from the local fund of the provincial government.
